He is recognised by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as one of the national preceptors for training in endoscopic surgery and is involved in surgical courses both locally and nationally. He is a previous board member of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and a member of the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and The International Pelvic Pain Society.
