Refer yourself to One Health

On the 3rd of May 2025 I went into Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield under The One Health NHS system for Total Hip Surgery. My second Orthapedic Surgery via One Health. I had Total Knee replacement in September 2024. From arrival at 7am through to leaving on Sunday the 4th of May the attention to detail was second to none. My Surgeon came to my room prior to my operation to explain surgery and mark my left hip for op. Next came my Anaethetist a gentleman if ever I met one. I had reservations about Spinal Block after not having a great experience last time,he went through procedure and put me at ease & he looked after me as he promised. Whilst in recovery my surgeon came and reassured me all had gone well & told me my old hip was well worn out. On returning to my room I was looked after in every way you could imagine. Chef (whose name escapes me) took orders for my food during my stay & when delivered was amazing. I’d also like to give a mention to physios who worked with me over my stay& all their reassurance. Nurses & rest of the staff who looked after me during my stay. I even got a follow up call from a nurse week after getting home. I would not hesitate to recommend One Health to family & friends.
