Siddharth Shah

Mr Siddharth R. Shah is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in complex knee surgery, sports injuries, and joint-preserving treatments for active patients. He has trained extensively across the UK, Asia, and Europe, and provides personalised care for a wide range of knee conditions including ligament injuries, cartilage damage, meniscal problems, instability, and alignment issues.

After beginning his surgical career in India, Mr Shah moved to the UK to pursue advanced Sports Medicine training at the University of Sheffield, supported by the Indian Cricket Board. He went on to complete higher surgical training within the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery before undertaking prestigious specialist fellowships in internationally renowned centres. These included advanced knee fellowship training in Leeds (UK), a BOA-sponsored Advanced Knee Fellowship at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm (Sweden), and a BOSTAA-sponsored Advanced Paediatric Knee Fellowship at Toulouse Teaching Hospitals (France). Through this extensive international training, Mr Shah developed specialist expertise alongside world-leading surgeons in knee preservation, sports injuries, complex ligament reconstruction, and joint restoration, shaping his commitment to delivering the highest standards of patient-centred care.

Mr Shah focuses on helping patients get back to doing what they enjoy, whether that’s everyday activity or high-level sport. He aims to preserve the natural joint wherever possible, using modern, evidence-based techniques, while also offering knee replacement surgery when needed. Known for being approachable and thorough, he takes time to understand each patient and tailor treatment to their individual goals.
