Mr Stuart Roberts is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with specialist expertise in spinal surgery and neurotrauma. He holds a BSc and a PhD from the University of Birmingham, where his doctoral research investigated neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration following blast traumatic brain injury. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and contributed to several book chapters in the fields of neurosurgery and neurotrauma.

In addition to his clinical practice, he serves within the Defence Medical Services and, together with colleagues, runs the combined Neurosurgery and Spinal Clinic at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) Stanford Hall. He is an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) instructor and is actively involved in medical education, teaching on a range of military training courses.

His practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine, academic research, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care for patients with complex neurosurgical and spinal conditions.
