I'm a Consultant Foot & Ankle Surgeon dedicated to helpingpatients walk comfortably, live actively, and recover confidently from foot andankle problems. I provide specialist care for a wide range of conditionsincluding bunions, arthritis, tendon injuries, sports injuries, fractures, deformities, and diabetic foot complications. My aim is to offer personalisedtreatment – whether that’s expert advice, physiotherapy, injection therapy, orsurgery – to get you back on your feet as safely and quickly as possible.
MyBackground I completed MBBCh at Cairo University Teaching Hospitals 1998. I was granted a Master Degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2003 & MD Degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2008. I became a member of royal college of surgeon of England in 2009, In 2021 and on my first attempt, I cleared the Inter-collegiate Specialty Board exam FRCS (Trauma-Orth).
I completed my surgical training across several regions in the UK to broaden my clinical exposure and gain experience in a variety of healthcare settings. I had the opportunity to work in eight major trauma centres across the UK, managing complex orthopaedic and foot & ankle cases. This diverse training allowed me to work alongside leading surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, and to familiarise myself with a wide range of advanced surgical techniques. It has shaped awell-rounded, adaptable approach to patient care and surgical decision-making.This was followed by advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery inManchester. I’ve worked in high-volume specialist centres and am up to date with the latest techniques in Trauma, joint preservation, and deformity corrections.
I also work closely with podiatrists, physiotherapists, orthotists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure joined-up, holistic care. Additionally, I was awarded the British-European Foot & Ankle Fellowship, which offered valuable international exposure to diverse surgical techniques and practices. My Philosophy I believe good care starts with listening. Every patient is unique, so I take the time to understand your symptoms, goals, and concerns.
