Joby trained in Nottingham and Derby, completing a PhD in unicompartmental replacements at that time.  

He has fellowships in lower limb reconstruction (Canada) and knee arthroplasty & ligament surgery (UK) and provide all aspects of knee surgery using arthroscopy techniques and replacements from partial replacements to revisions.

He has a keen interest in research, is part of international and
national multi-centre RCTs apart from biomechanics aspects of the knee and regularly teaches on national courses.
