UpgradeExperienced medical doctor and director Zak McMurray adds his insight to our board to help guide One Health Group’s future
Zak McMurray brings a wealth of experience to the One Health Group board as our latest Non-Executive Director. Qualifying as a doctor in 1988, he practiced at Sheffield’s Woodhouse Medical Centre for 20 years.
In addition to Zak’s excellent record in medical practice, Zak is able to contribute at board level thanks to his passionate involvement in healthcare management since 1999. This was the year he was elected to the board of the South East Sheffield Primary Care Group, where he acted as mental health and commissioning lead before taking over as PEC Chair. He moved to become Joint Clinical Director of Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group, eventually leaving his practice in 2014 to become Medical Director.
A current member of the Quality Assurance Committee, Primary Care Commissioning Committee and the Sheffield Health and Wellbeing Board, and sitting on the CCG Governing Body, Zak is a committed champion of NHS principles at the highest levels. His future contributions to One Health Group will be guided by the same values he has always upheld in his professional career.
