One Health was established in Sheffield in 2004 and has successfully grown to become a significant healthcare provider in the region. Our services are available to NHS and private patients, with clinics located at over 40 locations across Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Our Head Office is based in Sheffield but will require consultants to work from various locations remotely.

We are currently recruiting
- One Health is looking for a Consultant Urologist to support and grow the One Health Group Urology Service across South Yorkshire.
- You should currently be in a substantive NHS Consultant post OR in a long-term locum Consultant post (more than 12 months).
- If not currently in an NHS post, you should have been a substantive NHS Consultant for at least three years prior to leaving the NHS.
- Hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise and have no restrictions, conditions or ongoing fitness to practise concerns.
- Hold FRCS (Urol) or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification.
- Be included on the GMC Specialist Register for Urology.
The role involves
- Assessing, investigating and treating patients referred to One Health via the NHS e-Referral Service or NHS waiting list initiatives.
- Delivering outpatient clinics across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
- Undertaking elective urological procedures within approved independent sector hospitals.
- Working collaboratively with One Health's clinical and administrative teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

- Will have experience working within a similar role in an NHS or independent healthcare setting.
- Will demonstrate a professional and patient-centred approach.
- Will understand the importance of patient confidentiality, clinical governance and delivering excellent clinical outcomes.
- Will be committed to providing high-quality care and maintaining the highest professional standards.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience using Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent clinical decision-making and organisational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical excellence.
