Hamdi Ebdewi

Mr Hamdi Ebdewi is an experienced Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon with over 25 years of surgical experience. Having qualified from Al-Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya in 1995, he has developed extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of general surgical conditions, with a particular focus on hernia surgery and colorectal surgery.

Mr Ebdewi specialises in open and laparoscopic hernia repair, including inguinal, umbilical and epigastric hernias, as well as complex abdominal wall reconstruction. He also provides expert management of a broad spectrum of colorectal and general surgical conditions. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, using the latest evidence-based surgical techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.

Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Ebdewi has a strong interest in patient safety, clinical governance and quality improvement, helping to ensure the highest standards of care throughout the patient journey.
