One Health are able to act as a ‘safety valve’ when your Trust faces pressure on its orthopaedic services either as a result of sudden and unexpected increases in demand or because your organisation may not have sufficient capacity in a particular sub-specialty.
One Health Group has been commissioned by a number of NHS bodies under the ‘Any Willing Provider’ model, empowering the commissioner to introduce contestability and competition as methods to help deliver the most beneficial and cost effective outcomes.
After referral to us, our dedicated contracts team will organise the pathway of care for your patients and ensure that your Trust is regularly kept fully informed of their progress in each and every case. Our staff will take over the responsibility for contacting patients, booking outpatient clinics and theatre space as well as organising transport if this is required.
We liaise directly with the hospital provider, our One Health Surgeons and our anaesthetists to ensure your patients successfully complete their treatment within the agreed timetable. Finally, we ensure that your Trust receives all the relevant clinical reports and paperwork to complete your records.
One Health Group will only supply Surgeons and Anaesthetists who hold specialist registrations with the General Medical Council in the appropriate specialities. All the members of our team are experienced surgeons; sub-specialty trained and conform to regular peer review, audit and appraisal procedures.
Within our team we are able to provide significant capacity in the whole range of orthopaedic surgery. We can provide the commissioner, on request, with validation of professional qualifications, insurance, CV’s and rights to practice.
One Health Group only work from independent hospital facilities that have been approved and accredited by the Healthcare Commission under the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Private and Voluntary Healthcare (England) Regulations 2001.

Within their Chambers our specialists undertake and develop their own private clinical work as well as local and national contract work brought to them by One Health through arrangements with NHS Hospital Trusts and Primary Care Trusts.
